HSNO and ACVM Select Committee appearances

The vegetable industry presented in person at the Select Committee hearings on the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms (HSNO) and Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines (ACVM) Act amendments in late June.

Pictured left is Vegetables NZ Board Director, Jay Clarke of Woodhaven Gardens; and right, VegNZ Operations Manager, James Kuperus. In his oral submission, Jay highlighted the need for an efficient pathway to register new agrichemical products, in order to achieve marketable yields.
